Randy Cruts
Randy Cruts, author of the novels, Dive into Terror & Controlled Insanity, and also the graphic novels, Dragon’s Mist, Cliché Holiday, Today the Tiger Smiled & Tidewalker continues to distinguish himself from the multitude of writers by consistently garnering international awards and recognition with his screenplays.
Cruts retired from the naval reserve as a lieutenant commander and spent most of his career operating in the surface warfare community.
Before settling back in his home state, he worked as a diver for a Louisiana commercial diving company.
He now lives on the Emerald Coast of Northwest Florida where he has also retired from teaching high school mathematics.
Some of Cruts’ diversions from writing have been traveling, hiking, scuba diving, surfing, and skydiving. He holds a D-license with more than 350 jumps to his credit and is a certified private pilot.
Cruts recently resurrected his passion for surfing, a sport he pursued through high school and college. After graduating from the University of Florida, this athletic pastime led him to Hawaii where he surfed and lifeguarded the beaches of Oahu, fulfilling the big wave dreams of every surfer.
Cruts’ obsession with his stories and characters will forever sculpt his future endeavors.
Always pursuing higher education, he recently graduated from the University of Guinness, Las Vegas.
